'Dedicated to all those that we love who have left this world'

Welcome to our 2020 'Virtual' Memorial...

Under normal circumstances each year A & A Walters hold a series of key events in December. The first is our 'Tree of Remembrance' where we invite families to write a message on an Angel card and place it on one of our Christmas trees. Money raised is presented to a local charity.

In addition we hold two 'Christmas Services of Remembrance' and we send personal invitations to all those families we have supported throughout the year. We know that being able to come together with others who share that same sense of loss can make a tremendous difference for people, especially at Christmas time.

Unfortunately, as you would expect the COVID pandemic will prevent all of these 'in person' memorials taking place this year.

With this in mind, we have created a special Remembrance page for all those that have ever lost a loved one to use. We therefore invite you to go to the 'Contribute' page (top left of the screen) and do one or more of the following:

- 'Light' a memorial candle and leave a personal message remembering your loved one. There are different candles available which 'burn' for different periods of time.

- Upload a photograph of your loved one.

- Leave a thought or memory about your loved one for others to read.

- Make a donation in their memory. All proceeds will be given to a fantastic local charity called 'Balls to Cancer' (read all about them at https://ballstocancer.net/ )

We know that this 'virtual' collective memorial is not the same as attending a service in person but we hope that you will take some comfort in sharing your tribute with others and making a donation in memory to support a much needed local cause.

Thinking of you all at this time.

From Jeremy, Rachel and all the staff at A & A Walters
